You don't mix it in a drink, but it tastes like rootbeer. If you're just looking to add fiber, you can get Benefiber for children and add that to her milk or food. Make sure she doesn't drink too much milk, either - it can cause constipation. If you don't like the idea of giving her MiraLax every day, just give it to her when she seems to be slipping into constipation, and give the benefiber every day.
You said she won't drink fruit juice at all? I buy Plum Smart with added fiber, also Welches grape juice with added fiber. If you can't get her to drink it, you can try freezing it into a popcicle, or substituting it for water in recipes that would taste ok with plum or grape juice.
Incidentally, I also give him V8 Fusion because it has a serving of fruit and vegetables in it - that can be made into a popcicle, too. You can also try the Vanilla Pediasure with Fiber. My DD drinks 3 cans a day of Pediasure and she is a loosy goosy. I would also suggest the Pediasure. I wouldn't want to use something like Miralax or anything like that as such a young age. I didn't want to give him an enema, but he had an x-ray that morning that showed he was quite constipated. Courtney, I was trying to add you as a friend, but it asks for your email and I dont know it.
Can you add me? I put Benefiber in my coffee every morning. As far as my LO, I give him some dried apricots cut up. He thinks they're candy.
